Yet I do think, had I not the attention span of a small rodent, that these communities could actually be pretty decent communities. So I'm going to pimp them...because I'm asking for help. If you know anyone who is as fanatic about these subjects as I am, and who likes to mod and/or maintain a community. Yes, I'm willing to hand that over if need be (though I'd like to keep mod status, I do want to help.). I'm not the greatest of leaders. I think every good LJ community has people who are able to lead it in a direction. I've seen it. I would like to give them a chance, in other words. Because, I suck.

adultsonpogo- Anyone who loves the website Pogo.com. Adult Concepts community.
chimp_eden- You know what? If you can find someone who likes this show, I want you to pimp ME out to them. I would love to know anyone who loves this show! Because I am the only one I know who can't miss a single episode.
cosomology - Yes, I am aware it's spelled wrong. I felt like an ass. But I love learning more about the universe and the developments in physics. That's just started in the past 3 years, I think. It's fascinating stuff.
icallbullshit - and I go from a "smart" community, to a rant community called "I Call Bullshit". Basically exactly what it sounds like. Maybe someone did something dumb and you'd like to call them out on it. This community could go somewhere, if only because of the cool name.
jokesforadults- inspired by the now deleted adultjokespot. This one doesn't seem too difficult. I think I have an Adult Concepts or Explicit Adult Content on this one.

I've made all of these. Most of the BASES for these I've made, unless I've specifically...specified. And I'll try to remember if I gank a base, but if I don't...seriously, who cares? I don't intentionally steal icons, and I credit when asked...or when not. Because it's a nice thing to do.

about how the White House wants to edit the Geneva Convention? Basically, they want it "more specific". Should it be? Can we seriously not get the information we need from the phrase "To this end the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to the above-mentioned persons...(c) Outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment"

If you don't know what outrages upon personal dignity means, or what constitutes "humiliating and degrating treatment" you scare the hell out of me! Are we really THAT stupid in this country that we need it spelled out for us? What about the phrase "cruel and unusual punishment" in OUR constitution? Are we going to have to define that in more literal terms?

Somebody please tell me I'm taking this out of context? It will be hard to convince me...but if you can back it up with links or convincing arguements...please, by all means, I want to hear all sides.

If evolution is a fact, we'd be better off devolving back to monkeys. Looks like our leader is already on his way.
